Speaking on this, the Afroblackish band leader, J.J said, Dr Orlando Julius Ekemode has been a good mentor and father to me. The first day I met him, I knew him as a man that is passionate and ready to impart me with all he knows on music and advised me to go study music professionally to excel in my career.
Those encouragement led me to become a multi-instrumentalist today and not knowing for me that I am going to become a musician and a composer. I started with Dr. Orlando Julius’ songs and I began to follow his steps and any time I think of him i celebrate grace in him,” he said.
