Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has hailed the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Hon. Isa Ashiru, for embracing the legal process and ventilating his grievances over the 2023 governorship election outcome at the court of law.

Governor Sani, while reacting to the judgement of the Supreme Court on Friday, which affirmed his election as the duly elected governor of Kaduna State, said Ashiru’s approach following the March 18, 2023 election outcome was a democratic way and must be emulated by all persons and groups who are truly committed to the growth and development of Nigeria’s democracy.

“That is the democratic way and must be emulated by all persons and groups who are truly committed to the growth and development of Nigeria’s democracy,” he stated in the statement.

The governor also hailed the Supreme Court ruling affirming his electoral victory, saying the apex Court in a unanimous decision has put a final seal on the mandate freely given to him by the people of the State.

Governor Uba Sani commended the Justices of the Supreme Court for their sound judgement even as he called on all and sundry to join hands with his administration to take Kaduna State to higher level of development.

“With the legal disputations over, it is time for us to join hands to take Kaduna State to a higher level. We are running a people-centered, inclusive and pro-development administration. Our doors are open to all stakeholders in the Kaduna Project. Any citizen of Kaduna State who has something to contribute will be given an opportunity. It is about the glory of Kaduna State, not personal glory,” Governor Sani stated.
