The South South Zonal organising secretary of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) and executive chairman of the Edo State Ecological and Climate Change Funding and Management Commission, Dr Blessing Agbomhere, has congratulated Senate President Godswill Akpabio, on his 63rd birthday.
In a statement on Tuesday, Agbomhere hailed Akpabio’s leadership style, describing him as an inspiring statesman whose commitment to the development of the South South region and Nigeria has remained unwavering. He noted that the Senate president has continued to play a pivotal role in advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through robust legislative support.
Agbomhere also praised Akpabio’s investments in youth and women empowerment, describing him as a “generational gift” to Akwa Ibom State, the South South geopolitical zone and the nation at large.
According to him, Akpabio’s transformational leadership has endeared him to Nigerians across political and social divides.
The former national president of the Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) further lauded the Senate president’s contributions to national development, stating that his achievements and enduring legacies will remain firmly etched in the country’s political history.
