Accountant general of the federation, Oluwatoyin Madein has expressed sadness at the passing away of former accountant general of the federation, Jonah Oguniyi Otunla.

In a statement, Madein said the late former accountant general of the federation (AGF) worked hard to bring the treasury of the federation to the present enviable position, especially in the implementation of a series of public finance management reforms.

Madein, who described the late Otunla as an amiable personality, said he has gone to be with his maker and prayed for the repose of his soul.

She commiserated with the family of the late former AGF and the treasury of the federation over the unfortunate incidence, according to a statement that was signed by the director, public relations in her office, Bawa Mokwa.

Late Jonah Oguniyi Otunla was accountant general of the federation from July 2011 to June 2015.
