Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, is celebrating a season of success after securing three prestigious honours at the 14th Nigerian Aviation Awards (NIGAV), and promoting two of its senior pilots to the esteemed rank of Captain.

At the NIGAV event held last Friday, Air Peace was bagged ‘Best Cabin Crew’, ‘Best West Africa Sub-Regional Airline’ and ‘Airline CEO of the Year’ awards.

The recognitions have further cemented Air Peace’s reputation for excellence in regional connectivity, customer experience, and strong leadership. The airline expressed gratitude to its passengers and stakeholders, reaffirming its promise to deliver safe, reliable, and culturally-rich air travel.

“These awards are a validation of our vision and the hard work of every single team member. We will keep pushing the bar higher,” Air Peace said via its official social media page.

In the same celebratory spirit, Air Peace marked a double milestone within its flight crew ranks. Two of its Senior First Officers, Obinna Okeke and Adedamola Adeoye, were officially promoted to Captains on the airline’s Boeing 737 fleet.

The promotion ceremony, which took place at the airline’s headquarters in Lagos, was attended by top executives, including the chairman, chief operating officer, director of Flight Operations, and the proud families of the newly minted Captains.

“Their journey from flight school to the left seat of the cockpit showcases our unwavering dedication to grooming world-class aviation professionals,” the airline shared.
