Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, has said that the Throne Room Trust Ministry has contributed greatly to national peace, spiritual revival, and intercession for the nation.
He gave the commendation at the 21st International Prophetic Prayer Conference of the ministry in Kafanchan, Kaduna State.
Senator Akume, who was represented at the conference by the wife of his chief of staff, Pastor (Mrs) Mary Chris Tarkaa, expressed the federal government’s gratitude for the ministry’s consistent efforts in promoting unity, moral reawakening and national cohesion through prayer.
He remarked that faith-based organisations like the Throne Room Trust Ministry are essential partners in nation-building, particularly when the country needs healing, peace, and divine guidance.
This five-day global event themed, “The Day Of The Spirit” attracted pilgrims and ministers from across Nigeria and various African nations and other continents.
The conference included intense sessions of worship, prophetic declarations, and intercessory prayers for nations, leaders and the Body of Christ.
Leading the congregation in fervent prayers, the vision pioneer of the Throne Room Trust Ministry, Apostle (Dr) Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, prophesied that “a wave of change will soon sweep across many African nations, one that will shake systems and expose hidden works of darkness.”
He reassured attendees that while the turmoil that may follow could instill fear in many, those who truly trust in God will be preserved.
Apostle Kure, a former national secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), declared that the Church must remain vigilant on this “day of the Spirit,” emphasising that revival and reformation are the next divine agenda for Africa.
Special sessions were dedicated to intercessory prayers for kings, traditional rulers, and the land of Southern Kaduna. Participants prayed for divine protection, wisdom, and harmony among the people, beseeching God to pour His Spirit upon the region for peace, prosperity, and progress.
Delegates at the conference described the event as a refreshing encounter and a divine realignment of the spiritual destiny of nations.
Apostle Kure urged believers to carry the fire of the Spirit into their communities and nations, declaring, “This is not just the day of the Spirit – it is the beginning of a new movement of God across the earth.”
