Ali Baba stated this at the weekend in Lagos during a Mega Summit 2023 titled: “Strategies for   Increased Financial Growth, organised by TeamFocus Realtors Group.

Other leading Real Estate experts who spoke at the summit include, Dr Simon Adozi, managing director/chief executive officer(CEO), Adozillion Realty; Coach Paul Foh and Dr John Mukoro, MD/CEO, Own Your Life Institute.

Alibaba, who is also into real estate business, spoke amid his usual rib-cracking jokes, anchoring his lecture on what he termed the imperatives for sustainable wealth creation.

He added that creativity was necessary in any human initiative and endeavour, citing as a good example of creativity the biblical Moses birth story and how his mother put him in a basket on the river shores.

He listed the imperatives for wealth creation as, skills, technology, information, mentorship, experience, team work, self-education, goals, sane mind personality, healthy competition, communication skill/review mechanism, publicity, know -your customer, packaging, etc.

Speaking in the same vein, Adozi, Foh and Mukoro called on realtors and real estate professionals, to build capacity through self-development and confidence, acquisition of knowledge, being visionary, audacious, having positive mindset, integrity, doggedness and setting long term but achievable goals, among others.

The trio who gave examples of their personal experiences in the real estate sector, counselled the participants to  de-emphasise short term monetary gains and strive to build reputable brands  in the sector.

On why Team Focus Realtors Group organised the summit, the company’s President Mrs Olubukola  Oloruntoba and  its  Director, Public Relations, Mrs Uche Amatokwu, said that the event was aimed at empowering upcoming realtors by training  and equipping them with necessary skills for them to earn a living.

Amatokwu added that the essence of the summit was in line with the firm’s slogan, Team Focus-lnspiring You for Growth- which is building a family of achievers in the real estate business.

She added that firm , which has visible presence across Nigeria’s major cities and abroad, provides unique after sales services.

Major highlights of the event were the presentation of a car by Signature Lottery Homes to Dr. Mukoro, as its leading realtor, gifts presentation to outstanding realtors, testimonies, etc.
