Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero representing Kebbi Central senatorial district at the National Assembly has distributed empowerment equipment worth millions of naira to the people of his constituency.
General manager of Labana Rice Mills Company, Alhaji Alhassan Yusuf, who briefed journalists in his office yesterday over the development said the items include; 200 sewing machines, 48 cows, 80 freezers, 16 tricycles known as Keke- Napep and transformers.

Yusuf further stated that 25 sewing machines, six cows, 10 freezers, 2 tricycles- Keke- Napep were distributed to eight local government areas while the transformers were shared to Gwandu, Aliero and Birnin Kebbi LGAs which were all under Kebbi central constituency.

The GM noted that the gesture is part of Senator Aliero’s yearly intervention towards empowering his constituents for them to become self-reliant. He called on the beneficiaries to use what they received for the purpose it was given in order to justify the gesture.
