Grammy-winning American rapper Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, has been acquitted of all five charges in his murder-for-hire trial in Los Angeles.
A jury delivered the not-guilty verdict on Friday, September 11, 2026, after three days of deliberations. The charges stemmed from an October 2024 arrest over an alleged plot targeting rival artist Quando Rondo following the 2020 killing of rapper King Von.
While co-defendants Deandre Wilson and David Lindsey were convicted on stalking-related counts, Banks was cleared on all charges, including conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire.
Despite the acquittal, the rapper will remain in federal custody as he faces a separate racketeering trial scheduled to begin on October 5.
