The Niger Delta youth, under the leadership of the Phase 3 Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) chairman, General Godstime Ogidigba, has called on Nigerians and the Niger Delta region to join forces with President Bola Tinubu in tackling the growing insecurity in the country.

The youth in Benin yesterday expressed concern over negative commentaries on the security situation and emphasised that unity is key to defeating the common enemy.

Ogidigba noted that Nigeria can only overcome the current challenges if the people work together as a team, putting aside their differences and focusing on the collective good.

They urged Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s efforts in addressing insecurity and to shun divisive tendencies.

The phase three leader also raised concerns about planned protests against the Presidential Amnesty Office, stating that such actions would be counterproductive to the current efforts aimed at promoting peace and development in the region.

He urged those behind the planned protests to instead engage in dialogue with the amnesty office to resolve any issue.

He commended Tompolo’s Tantita security company for its efforts in maintaining peace in the region by ensuring that pipelines are properly secured to prevent sabotage by those who do not have the country’s best interests at heart.

He urged Nigerians to put aside religious, tribal, and ethnic sentiments and come together as one people to fight against bandits and terrorists.

He emphasised that unity is essential to the country’s progress and that President Tinubu’s administration deserves the support of all Nigerians in its efforts to tackle insecurity.

The leaders reiterated their commitment to supporting President Tinubu’s administration in its quest to secure the country and promote development. They expressed confidence that with collective effort, Nigeria would overcome its security challenges and become a great nation.

They emphasised that “United we will stand, and divided we will fall,” and expressed optimism that Nigeria will be great again under President Tinubu’s leadership.
