Amusan clocked a season’s best of 12.40s to win the race.

The 27-year-old beat Jamaica’s Danielle Williams, who ran 12.46s, while Christina Clemons of the United States of America was third in 12.54s

Amusan has now taken over the world lead from American Tonea Marshall, who had run 12.42s in late April.

The Jamaica Athletics Invitational is a Continental Tour-Silver meet.
