Following her impressive showing in the Lausanne Diamond League, World-Record holder Amusan returned to action at the Stockholm Diamond League against a less-fancied field without Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn and Tia Jones.

Amusan wasted no time, dominating the event and powering home in 12.52s, five-hundredths of a second slower than her SB of 12.47s set at the Ostrava Golden Spike event.

Irishwoman Sarah Lavin finished in second place with a new Personal Best of 12.73s, while Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska finished third in a time of 12.78s in Stockholm.

Amusan won her second event, having also won the Racers Grand Prix in Jamaica, and her first Diamond League event of the season. The hurdler continues to prepare for the World Championships in Budapest.
