Indeed, a golden fish has no hiding place as the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) honoured industry veterans, Mallam Sani Muazu and Nkem Owoh, with the prestigious Life Achievement Awards on Saturday night.
Sani Muazu, an actor, director and former guild head of Motion Picture Practitioners Association Of Nigeria (MOPPAN) was given the award for his more than three decades of contribution into the movie industry.
MOPPAN is an umbrella organisation for filmmakers in Northern Nigeria, specifically focusing on the Kannywood, which is the Hausa-language film industry in Nigeria.
An elated Muazu thanked the organisers of the AMVCA for the award and all who have supported the industry thus far.
