Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black has returned to the Billboard 200 and secured top 10 positions on four other charts following a special reissue marking the album’s 20th anniversary.
The Grammy-winning record ranks third on Indie Store Album Sales, fourth on Vinyl Albums, and seventh on both Top Album Sales and Top R&B Albums, according to charts dated November 7. It also climbed back to No. 42 on the Billboard 200.
The album’s renewed success follows its October 23 reissue, which included an expanded edition featuring previously unreleased B-sides, demos and a live concert.
During the tracking week ending October 29, the project recorded 16,000 equivalent album units in the US, representing a 185% increase. Pure album sales accounted for 11,000 units, rising by 885%, according to Luminate.
Originally released in 2006, Back To Black was Winehouse’s second and final studio album before her death in 2011. It produced hits including “Rehab” and “You Know I’m No Good”.
The album reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in 2008, the year Winehouse won five Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Best New Artist.
