All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Abdulrahman Bashir Haske as the chairman of the Youth Advisory Committee for the August 16, 2025, Ganye, Adamawa State Assembly Constituency by-election.
According to the party, the appointment, signed by the APC’s national vice chairman, North-East, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, underscores the party’s commitment to youth empowerment and inclusive leadership.
Haske will work closely with National Campaign Council Subcommittee members, Hon. Nuruddeen Hamanyero, Barrister Dedan Pwadi Hoki, Dr Tahir Abubakar Girei, Musa Terrang (PhD), Lamido Hamza Abdullah, and Salihu Mohammed Harbingiwa.
Other members include Huzaifa Sanusi, Idris Zubairu Numan, Sa’adu Adamu Namtari, Hon. Khalil Sajo, Dauda Kushu, Isah Garba Mayo, Lukman D. Wise, Shehu Baba-Jacob and Hon. Yakubu Bello Bashir.
Following his appointment, Haske commended President Bola Tinubu for making significant strides in fostering youth inclusivity and steering the APC towards charting an exceptional course for the nation.
“Under President Tinubu’s leadership, there are intentional efforts to ensure the youth have a voice in the nation’s development. Managing the APC, President Tinubu has been navigating the complexities of Federal governance to benefit the nation at large,” he said.
Haske also paid a courtesy visit to the national security adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, who is also the APC leader in Adamawa State. There, he discussed key issues ranging from the by-election to party matters and strategies to strengthen political ties and support. Haske commends the NSA’s leadership style, inclusivity, and achievements.
