The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has cautioned Nigerians to steer clear of unauthorised rallies allegedly being organised by individuals claiming affiliation to the party.

The national chairman, Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe, said such gatherings posed security risks, create public confusion and undermine the integrity of the party.

According to the ADC, all official activities, including rallies, meetings and events must receive prior approval from its authentic leadership before being recognised.

“Any party activity that does not comply with  directives may be considered illegitimate and not recognised by the party,” he added.

The party urged members and the public to verify the legitimacy of any ADC event through official channels and avoid participating in unauthorised gatherings.
