The chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in South Africa, Otunba Oyekanmi Oluwatoyin, has highlighted the need to find mutually beneficial solutions to the problems confronting Nigeria’s relationship with South Africa.

The party chieftain stated this in light of the recent 15th BRICS Summit held in South Africa, which was attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima.

The theme of the summit was ‘’BRICS and Africa: Partnership for Mutually Accelerated Growth, Sustainable Development, and Inclusive Multilateralism”

However according to Oluwatoyin, he said there is need for a business Visa regime to improve investment and trade relations between the countries, stating that the cornerstone of stability within intricate multipolar landscape lies in fostering development partnerships.

While stressing the need for a revitalized international cooperation and safety, he noted that South Africa needs to also improve community policy and safety of Nigerians in the communities for a mutually beneficial coexistence.

According to him, there should be a review of emigration policies that promote fairness and Pan-Africanism amongst the nations, adding that lengthy court cases and unbiased justice regime in South African courts towards Nigerians should be put to an end.

‘‘The APC and ANC have agreed to set up a framework for party-to-party engagement. It is not enough to have these noble and progressive ideals. We have to be prepared to work together tirelessly and resiliently to face challenges and setbacks we will encounter.
