APC Deputy Chair Heads Ondo Gov’ship Primary Election Committee

Tinkers with timetable, primary polls now holds april 20

The All Progressives Congress (APC), has named the party’s Deputy National Chairman, Hon. Emma Eneukwu as head of the Governorship Primary Election Committee for Ondo State.

APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka disclosed this on Tuesday, naming other members of Committee as Festus Fuanter, Victor Giadom, Prof. Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana, Sulaiman Argungu, Dr Mary Alile Idele, Durotolu Oyebode Bankole, Nze Chidi Duru and Morka.

“By a Resolution adopted at its 144th Meeting held on the 6th of March, 2024, the National Working Committee of our great Party constituted a Governorship Primary Election Committee of its members for the smooth running of election processes in Ondo State,” the statement reads.

 

Meanwhile, the ruling party has tinkered with its schedule of activities and timetable for the Ondo governorship primary election.

Accordingly, the primary election which was fixed for April 25 has been shifted back to the 20th of the month, sale of forms scheduled between April 3 and April 10 is now slated from Wednesday March 27 to the 3rd of next month.

Again, the screening of aspirants hitherto scheduled for April 19 and 20 will now hold between 11th and 12th of the month while delegates congress has been brought back from April 22 to April 15.
