The member representing Ijesa South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Sanya Emmanuel Omirin, has called on members and delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the constituency to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the party’s presidential primary.
Omirin, in a statement issued on Friday, described the primary as important to the unity of the ruling party and the country’s political stability.
He said President Tinubu had demonstrated leadership through ongoing economic reforms and efforts aimed at strengthening democratic institutions.
According to the lawmaker, delegates should view the exercise as an opportunity to support continuity and stability within the party and the country.
He also expressed confidence that strong support for Tinubu from Ijesa South would further strengthen the APC in Osun State and reaffirm support for the administration in the South West.
Omirin urged party members to remain peaceful and disciplined before, during, and after the primary process.
