Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State have commended Governor Uba Sani’s administration for what they described as a significant reduction in insecurity, alongside improvements in infrastructure and political inclusion across Southern Kaduna.
The commendation was made during a rally held in Zonkwa, where party supporters gathered to endorse Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Uba Sani, and an aspirant for the Zangon Kataf/Jaba Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Anthony Sylvester, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Addressing a crowd of APC supporters, community leaders, and youth groups during the rally, Sylvester pledged to prioritise inclusive representation, youth empowerment, and infrastructural development if elected.
He stated that his over two decades of experience working in the National Assembly have equipped him with the knowledge and capacity to represent his constituents effectively.
Sylvester also praised the improved security situation in Southern Kaduna under the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani, describing their efforts as impactful. “Before now, gatherings like this were impossible due to insecurity. People lived in fear. Today, there is relative peace and coexistence”, he added.
Speaking at the rally, the Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, Jerry Adams, noted that improved security has enabled farmers to return to their fields and residents to resume normal economic activities.
He described Sylvester’s entry into the race as timely and expressed confidence that the APC would secure victory in the constituency in the 2027 general elections.
Adams attributed the region’s progress to sustained security operations and the inclusive governance style of Governor Uba Sani’s administration.
“In the past, organising an event like this would have been difficult. But today, you can see the massive turnout. This shows there is peace. The Governor has ensured inclusivity in governance, from infrastructure development to political appointments,” Adams said.
