An aspirant for the Anaocha/Dunukofia/Njikoka federal constituency of Anambra State in the 2027 general election, Prince Chukwudi Oli, has pledged to prioritise the youth-skills acquisition initiative of the state governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, if elected into the National Assembly.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ticket aspirant said that his research had shown that over 70 percent of the development in the state was done by APGA administration, adding that he joined the party not because of influence of any god-father but out of personal conviction.
He told newsmen in his Nri community, Anaocha LGA community on Saturday that though he is not criticising any of those who had represented the federal constituency in the past for poor performance, he would change the narrative as he would “raise the bar” if elected.
“I don’t believe in the distribution of motor-cycles, shuttle buses, rice and such items as palliatives and empowerment items to the youths. I will prioritise entrepreneurship skills acquisition and education like the state governor (Prof Chukwuma Soludo) is doing because that is what will make the beneficiary permanently empowered,” Oli stated.
