The party chairman, in a statement in Abuja, described governor Fubara as a true democrat and exemplary leader who has the interest of the workforce at heart.
“Despite the distractions by some undemocratic elements who are desperate to hijack the state treasury

for their personal interest, the governor proved why he is resisting such elements as the money of the people should be for the good of the people and payment of the N85,000 as minimum wage is the highest so far among the 36 states of the Federation”
“This shows that the governor has good programs and policies to turn around the fortunes of the state.”

According to him, “Governor Fubara has shown to the world that he is desirous of improving the welfare of the people of Rivers state despite the opposition by those who want to destabilise the state.”
