At last we got to Altine’s customer, the woman was excited to see us back. “Madam, bring the Ankara,” Altine said as we sat on the chairs she offered us. We all stared at her in astonishment and yelled, “Haba!” At the same time. “Was it not something I just priced now and you told me the amount?” Altine queried. The woman shrugged, “That’s how we see market o, everything has added price. I just found out from my neighbor that this Ankara has added money. I will be short changing myself if I sold it to you at the previous rate.” Farida’s mouth was still open with an expression of, ‘Are you for real’ that only her could pull.
