Arsenal Make £70m Move For Chelsea Winger Pedro Neto

Arsenal have reportedly expressed interest in signing Chelsea winger Pedro Neto as manager Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new Premier League season.

According to OneFootball, the Gunners have contacted Neto’s representatives to signal their interest in the Portugal international.

Chelsea are understood to be willing to listen to offers for the 26-year-old, although the Blues are expected to demand a substantial fee before considering his departure.

Neto’s asking price is reportedly around £70 million, which would make the move a significant investment for Arsenal.

Arteta is keen to add a left winger to his squad as he looks to build on Arsenal’s Premier League title success last season.

The north London club had previously explored the possibility of signing Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior, but their hopes of landing the Brazil international appear to have ended after he opted to commit his long-term future to the Spanish giants.

Neto joined Chelsea from Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer and has established himself as an important attacking option at Stamford Bridge.

However, Chelsea’s willingness to consider offers could open the door for Arsenal to pursue a deal, although the Gunners would have to meet the Blues’ substantial valuation.
