Arsenal F.C. have confirmed plans for an open-top bus parade through Islington after securing their first Premier League title in more than two decades.

The north London club officially clinched the championship on Tuesday after closest challengers Manchester City F.C. failed to defeat AFC Bournemouth, handing Arsenal an unassailable lead at the top of the table.

According to the club, the victory parade will take place on May 31 and is scheduled to begin at 2pm BST.

The celebrations could become even more historic if Arsenal defeat Paris Saint-Germain F.C. in the UEFA Champions League Final in Budapest one day earlier.

Manager Mikel Arteta has transformed Arsenal into champions after years of rebuilding, guiding the club to their first Premier League success since the famous “Invincibles” season under Arsène Wenger in 2004.

The title confirmation triggered jubilant scenes at Arsenal’s London Colney training base, where players gathered to watch Manchester City’s draw against Bournemouth.

Thousands of supporters also flocked to the Emirates Stadium, waving flags, lighting flares and celebrating long into the night.

The club will officially lift the Premier League trophy after Sunday’s final league fixture away to Crystal Palace F.C..

Fans are expected to line the streets of Islington in huge numbers for the parade as Arsenal celebrate the end of a remarkable campaign.

The title triumph has been widely praised as a reward for the club’s patience and long-term vision under Arteta, whose young and energetic squad overcame intense pressure to finally reclaim English football’s biggest prize.

With a Champions League final still to come, Arsenal supporters are now dreaming of an unforgettable season that could deliver a historic domestic and European double.
