The tour is expected to cap off a successful year that has seen the artist consolidate his presence on the African and international music scene. The Lagos-born performer, known for blending Afrobeats with Fuji and street-pop influences, shared the tour update with fans recently. The theme “Back to the Soil” reflects a deliberate reconnection with his African base after a year of global collaborations and chart-topping singles.

In addition to the tour, Asake has signed a new management deal with Double Eleven, a firm that will oversee his branding and career strategy. Industry insiders say the move signals an effort to strengthen his long-term positioning in an increasingly competitive Afrobeats market.

The announcement comes on the heels of successful releases such as “Why Love” (February 2025) and “Badman Gangsta” featuring Tiakola (July 2025), both of which showcased his evolving sound. The latter track reached the top of the Official Nigeria Top 100, underlining his continued dominance on the charts.

Fans have already expressed excitement over the upcoming Lagos concert on December 24, with many expecting it to be one of the highlights of the holiday season. The Nairobi and Abidjan shows, scheduled for December 20 and 27 respectively, are also anticipated to draw large regional audiences.

Analysts say that combining a regional tour with a fresh management structure suggests Asake is moving beyond being a hit-maker to building a stronger legacy. His ability to draw audiences across borders, they argue, places him among the leaders of Nigeria’s new Afrobeats wave.

Asake’s next steps will likely determine how firmly he cements his reputation. For now, his African tour and new management deal mark a turning point: one that combines artistry, business strategy, and cultural pride as he reintroduces himself “back to the soil.”
