Afro-fusion artiste Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake, has reaffirmed his respect for his former label boss, Olamide Adedeji, amid speculation of a rift between the duo.

The singer clarified during an interview shared on his official X handle, addressing rumours that emerged following his transition from YBNL to pursue international opportunities.

Speaking in Yoruba, Asake dismissed claims of any fallout, stating that his relationship with Olamide remains intact despite his exit from the label.

He described Olamide as a lifelong mentor and maintained that his professional growth has not affected their personal bond.

Asake noted that his former boss would always remain a significant figure in his life and career.

The speculation had intensified in recent weeks following Olamide’s absence from some of the singer’s international performances.
