ATBU Matriculates Over 6,000 Students

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi has Matriculated 6,102 students for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Vice chancellor of the university, Prof Muhammad Abdul’aziz disclosed this during the ceremony at the Gubi campus of the university.

The VC who was represented by the deputy vice chancellor, Academics, Professor Sani Usman Kunya, said ATBU is fully committed to strengthening the education system to provide a conducive atmosphere/environment for effective teaching and learning in an effort to develop the future human workforce.

He described matriculation as a cardinal requirement for qualifying admitted students as bonafide members of a university and charged the students to fully support the university community for the smooth running of the institution.

 

He enjoined the newly admitted students to abide by the rules and regulations of the university and to concentrate on their studies for rapid development of the society.

Registrar of the university, Aisha Idris urged the newly admitted students to shun social vices such as examination malpractices and cultism that could hamper their studies.
