Digital transformation leader AVEVA is fueling the future of clean energy by powering the nation’s largest renewable natural gas (RNG) producer with advanced industrial intelligence.

This is even as AVEVA has been selected by Archaea Energy, the top RNG producer in the U.S., to deliver a powerful operations data management infrastructure that will supercharge performance across its expanding network of renewable energy plants.

The collaboration marks a pivotal step in accelerating the digitalization of clean energy production. Archaea will leverage AVEVA’s industrial software—including the robust AVEVA PI Data Infrastructure and CONNECT cloud platform—to collect, unify, and visualize real-time operational data across multiple sites. This centralized intelligence will enable predictive performance analysis, rapid scalability, and operational excellence as the company continues its national expansion.

CEO of AVEVA, Caspar Herzberg, in a press statement, said Data is the backbone of energy innovation.

“By integrating our data infrastructure and CONNECT platform, Archaea will unlock deeper insights and greater efficiency across its RNG plants—scaling smarter, cleaner energy production to meet tomorrow’s sustainability demands,” Herzberg added.

“As the largest RNG producer in the U.S., our mission is to deliver clean, reliable energy with precision and speed. AVEVA’s technology empowers us to optimize operations in real time and drive smarter growth as we expand across the country,” Sykes stated.

The alliance reflects a broader industry shift toward digital-first energy strategies that prioritize sustainability, transparency, and innovation at scale.
