Bandits’ Kingpin Releases Another 3 Female Students

A bandits’ kingpin, known as Dogo Gide, who masterminded the abduction of over 200 students of the Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri in Kebbi State in June 2021 has released another three females from the remaining seven he held hostage.

The chairman of the Parent Association of Abducted Students, Malam Sadig Salim, gave the names of the released students as Elizabeth Ogochi Nwafor, Easter Sunday and Aliya Abubakar.

According to him, the freed students had since been handed over to the Kebbi State government to reunite with their parents.

Four female students namely: Bilha Musa, Fa’iza Ahmed, Rahma Abdullahi and Hafsa Murtala regained their freedom a few weeks ago by the kingpin after the bandits collected N100 million ransom from government, parents of the students and other philanthropists.
