The vice chancellor of FUK, Prof Umaru Pate, disclosed this on Wednesday while speaking to journalists about the institution’s upcoming convocation scheduled for Saturday.

Pate described Barde’s contribution as unprecedented, noting that Barde personally initiated, completed, and furnished the new hostel to a high standard.

This is ahead of the institution’s convocation ceremony, which is slated for Saturday. Barde’s management has praised it.

“This is the first of its kind at FUK. The quality of the project is commendable, and it reflects a deep commitment to educational development,” he said.

Professor Pate commended other stakeholders for their support towards the university’s growth.
He also acknowledged the support of Dr. Bala Bello Tinka, a state entrepreneur, for his scholarship assistance to students, adding that the state government’s allocation of land to the university is laudable.
