Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office. They pledged to deliver over one million votes for him in the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement was made during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held at the Event Centre, Bauchi, yesterday, convened to strengthen internal cohesion and position the party for electoral success  un 2027.

The meeting, led by the minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, brought together key party leaders, former governors, elders, aspirants and supporters from across the state.

The stakeholders also resolved to work towards selecting a well-deserving candidate for the Bauchi State governorship seat under the APC in 2027.

Speaking at the meeting held, Professor Ali Pate moved the motion for President Tinubu’s endorsement, which was seconded by former Bauchi State Governor, Barr. Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar, SAN and unanimously adopted by all stakeholders present, reflecting a strong sense of unity and shared purpose within the party.

Professor Pate stated that President Tinubu deserves re-election, citing his contributions to Bauchi State, including employment opportunities for over 2,000 youths and interventions across key sectors such as security, healthcare, agriculture, and education.

He assured that party stakeholders, ranging from aspirants and former governors to senators, House representatives, members and grassroots leaders, are united and committed to ensuring Tinubu’s victory in 2027.

According to him, the meeting also served to congratulate newly elected party leaders at various levels, while commending the people of Bauchi State for their peaceful participation in the APC national convention.

The meeting was attended by a delegation of key governorship aspirants and political figures, including Dr Bala Wunti, Senator Shehu Buba, and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, among others.

Representing the Bala Wunti Movement, Alhaji Adamu Fanta called for renewed unity within the party, reiterating the group’s commitment to the APC’s stability, growth, and success.

Fanta disclosed that Dr Bala Wunti, in collaboration with the Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO), played a key role in facilitating the stakeholders’ meeting as part of broader efforts to promote dialogue, cohesion, and collective action within the party.
