Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, has appointed Air Commodore Tijjani Baba Gamawa (rtd) as special adviser on Societal Reorientation and Enforcement.
A statement by the special adviser on Media and Publicity to the governor, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, said the appointment was in recognition of Gamawa’s dedication, hard work and exemplary service.
Gidado noted that these qualities, combined with Gamawa’s experience, will support the administration’s efforts to strengthen societal values and enhance public conduct across the state.
Governor Bala expressed confidence that the new special adviser will make meaningful contributions toward advancing his administration’s vision for a progressive Bauchi State.
Before this appointment, Gamawa served as the pioneer Commander-General of the Bauchi State Road Traffic Agency (BAROTA).
According to Gidado, the appointment takes immediate effect.
