He made this pledge yesterday during a courtesy visit by officials from Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), led by Head of Mission and Country Director, Dr. Adams Usmane Ngare.
Mohammed expressed gratitude for Médecins Sans Frontières’ interventions and emphasised that healthcare remains a priority for his administration.

While noting that the organisation’s contributions have significantly bolstered healthcare delivery in Bauchi State, Mohammed pledged to ensure the consistent payment of counterpart funds to facilitate the state’s access to both national and international donor programmes.

This, according to him would enhance healthcare services and improve the well-being of residents.

Governor Bala Mohammed further lauded Médecins Sans Frontières for their humanitarian efforts, both in Nigeria and globally, and reiterated his administration’s readiness to support their activities in the state.
