The Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO) has reiterated its commitment to taking development directly to the grassroots, delivering impactful, people-centered services to youths, women and vulnerable groups in Bauchi State.
Its chief executive officer, Mukhtar Jarmajo, said the organisatio’s mission is rooted in reaching underserved communities, enhancing social well-being and empowering local populations to actively participate in sustainable development and inclusive growth.
He spoke during a strategic retreat held for BWSO’s local government and zonal coordinators, along with staff members, in Dutse, Jigawa State.
According to him, BWSO was established as a responsive, intervention-driven platform aimed at addressing pressing socio-economic challenges at the grassroots level, cutting across key sectors of human development.
“BWSO is designed as a vehicle for effective service delivery, taking development directly to the grassroots by targeting women, youths, and Persons with Special Needs through impactful programmes that deliver measurable results,” he said.
He urged staff members to demonstrate renewed dedication, discipline, and professionalism in their duties, stressing that integrity, fairness, and accountability must remain the organisation’s guiding principles.
Jarmajo noted that BWSO’s success will not be defined by promises, but by tangible outcomes and the number of lives transformed at the community level.
He admonished the people of Bauchi State to engage with the organisation’s programmes, assuring that it remains open, inclusive and focused on serving the collective interests of the grassroots population.
In his presentation, Jamilu Mato highlighted the importance of building a disciplined and well-structured organisation driven by professionalism, coordination, and a long-term vision capable of sustaining grassroots impact.
Similarly, Comrade Umar Siyi, who spoke on “BWSO Identity,” stressed the need for staff to understand the socio-economic realities of Bauchi communities and to develop practical, innovative solutions implemented with transparency, inclusivity, and strong collaboration with local stakeholders.
