Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, alongside the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Vigilante, and Youth Empowerment Agency Commander, Umar Aliyu Shayi, yesterday visited the bereaved and affected families at the 33 Artillery Brigade Shadawanka Barracks, the Bauchi Police Command, and the residence of a fallen Civil Defence officer.

At the barracks, they were received by Brigade Commander Brigadier U.G. Simon before meeting the family of late military officer Haruna Buba, who died in active service.

On behalf of the state government, Galadima described Buba as a hero whose sacrifice would remain unforgettable, presenting N3 million to his family.

The delegation also visited the family of Police Officer Yahaya Abdullahi, who has been declared missing, and the family of late Civil Defence Corps officer Musa Abdullahi. Each family received N1 million in support.

Additionally, eight injured security personnel drawn from different agencies were each given N250,000 by the state government.
