BBNaija S11: Meet The First 24 Housemates As Battle For N160 Million Begins

Big Brother Naija officially returned on Saturday night with the premiere of its 11th season, introducing 24 new housemates who will compete for the show’s N160 million grand prize. More contestants are expected to be introduced.

Long-time host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu welcomed viewers to the highly anticipated launch, as contestants from different backgrounds made their first appearances and shared what they hope to bring to the famous BBNaija house.

Among the housemates is Tram, a Gen Z entrepreneur from Lagos, who said he joined the show to be himself rather than find love, admitting he has trust issues but would never betray anyone.

Temi, a 21-year-old London-raised student, described herself as bold, outspoken and authentic, revealing she auditioned because her aunt is a devoted fan of the reality show.

Fashion enthusiast Martins E said he hopes to use the platform to tell his story as a visual storyteller, while model and chef Abi, who is married to a man she met on TikTok, promised to showcase her lively personality.

Actor Chimson Chuka said he wants viewers to know the real person behind the roles he plays, while Keivo described himself as “kind, wicked and logical,” promising charisma and a competitive spirit.

Massage therapist Mercedes said she would bring ambition, independence and sensuality to the house, while Kamsy, a 24-year-old from Imo State, promised “chaos, mystery and drama.”

Other contestants include Saltex, who vowed to bring Gen Z energy and “realness”; web developer Aikou, who hopes to inspire viewers; and beauty entrepreneur Flora, who said she is ready to introduce herself to the world while keeping the party alive.

Undergraduate Bells hopes the show will launch her career, while Gerard said honesty and emotional intelligence define his personality. Oyin, from Shagamu, described herself as blunt, adaptable and fun-loving, while mother-of-one Sheba said she is bringing fearless energy into the competition.

Also entering the house are Araga, who described himself as genuine and a ladies’ man; Ricky, who declared he would do whatever it takes to win the prize money; and fashion designer Nomy, who promised to give her all despite admitting she hates losing.

Fashion designer and civil engineer Barry said he plans to entertain viewers throughout the season, while lawyer and entrepreneur Neche revealed she would rely on a dynamic strategy and has zero tolerance for bullying.

For Yusuf, joining BBNaija is the fulfilment of a long-held dream. Although focused on winning, he said he would be open to finding genuine love if the opportunity arises.

Musician Goddessa promised to showcase her music, authenticity and originality throughout her stay, while the photographer and model Bluethopia, from Adamawa State, said she hopes to make a name for herself by bringing northern flair and infectious energy to the house.

Completing the line-up for today is Cassi, a 26-year-old trader from Abia State, who described himself as hardworking, resilient and unafraid to express his opinions.

With personalities ranging from entrepreneurs and lawyers to creatives, models and students, viewers can expect a season packed with drama, competition, romance and entertainment as the battle for the N160 million prize officially begins.
