Former Big Brother Naija housemate and media personality, Uriel Oputa, has offered candid advice to renowned music producer and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, urging him to reconsider his approach to romantic relationships.

This comes after Don Jazzy, in a recent interview, publicly stated that he struggles with being sexually committed to one woman, a comment that stirred conversations online.

Reacting on an episode of the Outside The Box Podcast, Uriel suggested that the issue may stem from the kind of women the music mogul chooses to date. She believes a shift in preference could potentially change his outlook on commitment.

“I love Don Jazzy, I love him like no other. He’s such an amazing person .But I feel like when he said that he’s unable to be sexually committed to one woman, it boils down to the type of women he goes for. If I see him, I will tell him to try a different type of woman.”

She went on to make broader remarks about dating culture among Nigerian men, arguing that many pursue relationships based solely on physical appearance rather than deeper, meaningful qualities.

“A lot of the men in Nigeria don’t date for substance. They date for what they see physically, on the outside. That translates to the majority of Nigerian men. They cannot stay with one woman because they don’t date for substance.”

LEADERSHIP Weekend reports that Don Jazzy’s revelation has reignited ongoing discussions around commitment, celebrity relationships, and the influence of modern dating standards on romantic longevity. While the music executive has yet to respond directly to Uriel’s comments, her statement has added fuel to an already lively debate on social media.
