In a statement issued to newsmen yesterday in Abuja, Hon. Akwaji outlined her agenda for transformative leadership to foster development and restore the Bekwarra people’s trust in governance.

She emphasised that her administration is founded on the principles of sustainability, inclusivity, and accountability, envisioning a Bekwarra where every citizen has access to quality education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.

The chairman expressed her unwavering dedication to ensuring that all indigenes benefit from her developmental initiatives, regardless of their status or background.

“The hope of the Bekwarra people must be renewed in leadership,” she stated.

Hon. Akwaji explained that her administration would prioritize empowering youth, uplifting women, and protecting vulnerable populations.

She highlighted the importance of creating platforms for young people to thrive through education, skills acquisition, and employment opportunities while acknowledging the critical role of women in driving societal progress.

Addressing the need for grassroots development, she underlined her administration’s commitment to participatory governance and community engagement as vital strategies for sustainable progress.

She emphasised the importance of harnessing the collective talents and energy of the Bekwarra people to achieve a brighter future for the community.

“Inclusive decision-making and listening to the needs and aspirations of the people will remain central to my governance style, ensuring that policies and initiatives directly benefit the community,” she said.

“I sincerely pledge my commitment to addressing critical gaps in infrastructure, healthcare, and economic development. We are working on initiatives designed to create sustainable opportunities for residents to improve their livelihoods.”

She concluded by calling on all Bekwarra indigenes to join hands with her administration in building a united, inclusive, and prosperous community.

“Our strength lies in our unity and shared purpose. Together, we can achieve greatness and leave a lasting legacy for future generations,” she added.
