Benue Announces Programmes To Mark Gov Alia’s 2 Years In Office

The Benue State government has released a programme of activities to mark the second year in office of Governor Hycinth Alia.

In a press release by the Media and Publicity Committee yesterday signed by Dr. Mkor Aondona, the secretary of the committee, stated that on the 28th of May 2025, there will be a public colloquium/symposium in honour of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia, with The theme: “Democracy and Governance: Towards Addressing the Persistent  Contemporary Challenges Of Sustainable Development In Benue State” to be held at the Main Auditorium of the College of Health Sciences, Rev. Fr. Moses Adasu University, Makurdi.

It further stated that on the 29th of May 2026, all roads will lead to the IBB Square, Makurdi, for the grand finale of the activities for the May 29th celebration of two years of Governor Hyacinth Alia-led Administration in Benue State.
