Legendary Canadian singer Celine Dion has officially announced her return to the stage, four years after a diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome forced her into an indefinite hiatus.
The 58-year-old music icon shared the news in a video message titled “The Best Gift of My Life,” released on her birthday. She revealed plans for a limited 10-night residency at the Paris La Défense Arena, scheduled for September and October 2026.
“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life. I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again,” Dion said. She reassured her global fanbase of her progress, adding, “I want to let you know that I’m doing great, managing my health, feeling good.”
The announcement marks a significant milestone in her recovery journey. The rare neurological disorder had previously forced the singer to cancel her “Courage World Tour” in 2022. However, following her emotional 2024 documentary and a powerful performance at the Paris Olympics, this residency confirms that the “force of nature” vocalist is ready for a formal comeback.
