Bianca Censori has allegedly been summoned in a trial between a contractor and her husband, Kanye West, over the renovation of his Malibu mansion.
A former project manager employed in September 2021 to oversee the renovation of the mansion, Tony Saxon, has been involved in a legal dispute with Kanye since 2023.
Saxon filed court documents calling on West’s wife Censori to testify in the upcoming trial, which is set for 21 February, according media reports.
The lawsuit was initially filed in 2023, Saxon requested in a Los Angeles court order that the architect and model , take the stand in the litigation according to media reports.
It is still unclear why Saxon named Censori as a witness, however some reports claim she may have acted as an intermediary at some point regarding the project giving her insight that may be significant to the dispute.
Meanwhile, Saxon who says he also acted as caretaker for the property is suing Kanye for work he claims was completed on the oceanfront property worth more than $57 million in 2021. Following Kanye’s unique renovation requests he alleged the rapper subjected him to ‘unsafe working conditions’ together with extreme demands and long working hours, of up to 16 hours a day. He also told the court in legal documents that, in the process of carrying out Kanye’s unique specifications, he provided multiple services to include, project management, property caretaker and security. Saxon claims he was not fully compensated.
Things escalated when Kanye suggested moving large generators inside the house, to which Saxon told the court he told Kanye it would cause a major fire hazard. The raper was not pleased, resulting in an exchange of words that had Saxon fired on the spot.
The legal dispute is due back in court later this month.
