The Secretary General, Northern Pentecostal Bishops, Bishop Jonas Katung, has faulted former vice president, Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi on their stand against the Lagos- Calabar highway project.
Bishop Katung, the founder of the Living Stone Assembly, commended President Tinubu for initiating the project.
He said in an interview with newsmen in Jos that the project when fully completed, would give the president a high mark in the area of infrastructure development in the country.
Katung said the Lagos- Calabar highway would be the shortest way to the Southeast and South -South and would help ease the heavy traffic at the Lagos-Ore-Benin road.
Bishop Katung said right from Obasanjo’s administration till now, the Ore-Benin express way had been very difficult to fix due to high vehicular movement.
He added that the Lagos- Calabar high highway when completed would open many communities along the coastal route from Lagos to Calabar.
