Blessing CEO’s Fiancé, IVD, Arrested At Lagos Airport

Celebrity auto dealer , Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, has reportedly been arrested at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

The arrest occurred ahead of his planned wedding to influencer Blessing CEO in Qatar. Investigative journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus shared the news, sparking widespread media attention.

LEADERSHIP Sunday gathered that the arrest is believed to be connected to the ongoing domestic violence case involving his late wife, Bimbo, which is still in court. IVD is reportedly not permitted to leave Nigeria until the legal proceedings are concluded. He is expected to remain in detention until Monday, August 4, 2025, when he will be charged in court.

In response, Blessing CEO, who has been engaged to IVD for several months, shared a post on social media, referring to herself as a “bride-to-be” and expressing her excitement for the upcoming wedding.

Though she did not directly address the arrest , she  emphasised her anticipation for the ceremony. The influencer’s statement has garnered attention, with many speculating about the impact of IVD’s legal troubles on their relationship and the planned wedding.
