Borno State Rewards El-Kanemi Warriors N35.2m For President Federation Cup Win

Borno State government has rewarded El-Kanemi Warriors with N35.2m for winning the 2024 President Federation Cup.

The Borno Army defeated Abia Warriors 2-0 in the final of the competition in June.

It was El-kanemi Warriors’ first title in 32 years.

The cash reward was presented to the team by the secretary to the state government, Bukar Tijjani on behalf of Governor Babagana Umar Zulum in Maiduguri.

El-Kanemi Warriors are gearing up for their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round clash with Beninoise side, Dadje FC.
