West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen has made a heartfelt vow to return the club to the Premier League after their painful drop to the Championship.
Despite a commanding 3–0 victory over Leeds on the final day, the Hammers’ fate was sealed elsewhere Tottenham’s 1–0 win over Everton confirmed their relegation.
In an emotional interview with Sky Sports, Bowen addressed speculation about his own future: “I’m under contract here. I’ve given six and a half years to this club. There will be rumours, talk, nonsense. But my focus is clear—getting West Ham back where it belongs.”
He added: “This is a really low moment, but we have to bounce back. I’ve had incredible highs here, but this hurts deeply.
“You never know what the future holdsbut I want to see this club back in the Premier League.”
