Former Chelsea and Arsenal defender, David Luiz, has found himself at the centre of a cheating scandal following the leak of messages that allegedly showed him soliciting a ‘threesome’.
According to Portal Leodias, the Brazilian international had been unfaithful to his fiancée, Bruna Loureiro, with a woman named Karol Cavalcante. She claimed that they had been communicating over social media, with the two having never met in person, before Cavalcante leaked what are said to be private Instagram messages exchanged between her and the former Arsenal player.
Cavalcante alleged that Luiz suggested having a ‘threesome’ with her and a friend, sharing a purported message in which he claimed she would be ‘serving the lord’ if they were to get together. In response to these allegations, the Brazilian has issued a statement.
A representative from Luiz’s management agency stated: “As previously reported, although there was a brief exchange via text message, there was never any face-to-face meeting between David Luiz and the individual making the contrary allegations.”
An official statement from the Magna Praia Hotel confirmed that there is no record of the player staying at their establishment to date. Luiz reaffirmed his commitment to the truth and is confident that the facts will soon be clarified.
The former Brazil international, who currently plays for Cypriot side Pafos, has been engaged to Loureiro since 2019, and the couple has two children together.
