BREAKING: Bayelsa Assembly Confirms Pastor Peter Akpe As New Deputy Governor

The Bayelsa State House of Assembly, on Tuesday, approved the appointment of Pastor Peter Akpe as the new deputy governor of the state.

Akpe had served as chief of staff to Governor Douye Diri prior to his nomination as deputy governor.

The development followed the death of the former Deputy Governor, Lawrence Erujapor, who died few months ago.
