The Supreme Court, on Friday morning, affirmed the electoral victory of Sheriff Obovevwori of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the governor of Delta State.

The apex court consequently dismissed the petition filed against Oborevwori by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the March 18, 2023 governorship election, Ovie Omo-Agege, for lacking in merit.
