BUA Cement Plc took a significant stride on Thursday by launching its ‘Bag of Cement Promo’ in Nigeria, a strategic move aimed at enhancing cement sales across the nation.

The cement manufacturer introduced a scratch-and-win campaign, accompanying each cement bag with an opportunity to seize exciting prizes. The initiative caters to both its customers and the company itself.

BUA’s chief financial officer, Mr. Jacques Perkinson standing in representation of the managing director/CEO Engr. Yusuf Binji, emphasised the importance of customer loyalty and the company’s future expansion. He conveyed, “Nurturing steadfast loyalty from our customers is paramount, not only for our present success but also in alignment with our visionary expansion plans.”

He further articulated, “Our commitment extends to ensuring enduring patronage from our customers. By rewarding them through this initiative, we not only fortify our sales but also reinforce our brand’s prominence.”

Director of marketing and sales at BUA, Nasiru Ladan, elucidated the prime objectives of the promotional campaign. The initiative is designed to recognize and reward BUA’s steadfast patrons, maintaining sales momentum during a period of subdued demand, while also intensifying brand visibility.

The campaign, launched yesterday, will be active from August 10th to October 31st, 2023. A feat that can only be achieved by BUA Cement, the second-largest cement entity in the country, as asserted by Ladan.

A highlight of the campaign entails the scratch-and-win feature, embellishing each cement bag with an array of prizes. Ranging from tricycles, trucks, generator sets, Android phones, t-shirts, free bags of BUA Cement, free airtime, lamps, to the five-star executive vehicles crafted by Jad Motors, this diversified array of rewards adds an element of excitement.

Ladan said, “The most exhilarating aspect is that it’s not just one car. Four vehicles are poised to be distributed via a raffle draw involving 20 participants. As the fortunate quartet emerges from the raffle, the remaining 16 participants will receive a generous consolation prize of 1 million naira each, creating an opportunity for not only four but possibly 16 newfound millionaires.”

The move by BUA Cement aligns with its aspiration to amass a larger market share and cultivate unwavering brand loyalty amidst the surging competition within the Nigerian cement sector.

“Such an unprecedented initiative can only be executed by BUA Cement, a testament to its standing as the second-largest cement company,” Ladan reinforced.

Addressing the eligibility spectrum, it’s underscored that every user and stakeholder can partake, targeting end users engaged in diverse construction activities. This customer-centric approach is poised to significantly enhance overall turnover.

In an additional perspective, director-general of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Mr. Lanre Gbajabiamila conveyed his commendation through the voice of the commission’s deputy director, Mrs. Chitere Ayokwa. She affirmed the Commission’s role in regulating lottery operations, ensuring transparency, and safeguarding the interests of players, stakeholders, and the public in this licensed BUA Cement Plc promo.

“The inception of this promo is celebrated by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission. BUA Plc’s initiative aligns perfectly with our objective of rewarding loyal patrons and contributing to a fair lottery system. We extend our best wishes for the promo’s success,” stated Mrs. Ayokwa on behalf of Mr. Gbajabiamila.

He said the commission remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering sustainable and transparent lotteries driven by professionalism and cutting-edge technologies to fuel social and economic advancement.
